The annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities were supposed to take place in Chicago tomorrow, but since the event draws a crowd of 1 million people they’ve postponed the event indefinitely due to the Coronavirus. And now even Disney World has closed! As I heard in one report, better to overreact than under-react. It didn’t seem like that long ago that this was just in China and now it’s already an issue here. We ran into such enormous crowds at CostCo that we had to abort the mission and just go home. Regardless of how this plays out, it’s so important not to run with media headlines and really look at the facts.
Beyond the virus itself, another very real and painful repercussion is that our economy (and actually the global economy) is going to take a massive hit here… We are all going to be affected by this in some way. But it’s interesting to see people all around the world all going through the same thing. We’re all in this together. They’ll contain this and this will pass.
For now I have family in town from Arizona and we’re enjoying every moment of family time. And as I heard one other blogger say, we all still need to wear something, right? So everyone is still doing their posts and no joke, we need to continue to stimulate the economy. So here are a couple adorable tops that I just scooped up, and both are on sale for under $30!
